Girl who kicked the hornets' nest
highly enjoyable. But the plot was uneven! Larsson was sloppy with this third and final instalment. Thank you one and all =]

this book is a must for anyone interested in the war in iraq. this book looks at it from the political point of view. its surprising how many times commissions and groups were set up and then recommendations ignored.the personalities and entrenched ideology of some of the key players is breath taking. a great read also fromthe military point of view read thomas e ricks fiasco, and the follow from this gamble witch takes you right up to 2008 and deals with troop surge

Wolf hall
I enjoyed this book about about Cromwell and Henry 8th. Hilary Mantel writes beautifully and I had read her book of short stories already. However, I had a real problem with the amount of pronouns she used in the dialogue as I was never sure to whom she was referring every time she said "he said". Also Mantel stopped the story short of Cromwells eventual fate which was a bit strange considering the book was already very long. Far too long for the short loan section in my opinion. While the book was very good it was a bit puzzling as it seems only the very best of motivations were ascribed to Cromwells actions by the author which seems highly unlikely. In the novel Mantel has treated Cromwells character so kindly it detracts for the credibility of the entire book.
